Born and raised with 3 other siblings in the Acadian village of Petit-de-Grat, Nova Scotia, Maurice learned the importance of family and culture from his parents.
Maurice graduated from École Beau-Port in 2005 and continued his studies at l'Université de Moncton, where he obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration in 2009. In May 2012, he graduated from Université de Moncton Law School. After being called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2013, Maurice was made associate. In 2019, he became a Partner of EMM LAW.
Maurice has always believed in the importance of giving back to his community, therefore he continues to be actively involved in several committees and community groups. Furthermore, he is a strong believer in living a healthy and active lifestyle and continues to be a part of a positive health movement in the area.
Maurice and his wife, Jannick, have made Arichat their home, with their daughter Élodie.
